In 2020, as Vietnam entered its first lockdown, Mari found herself at a crossroads. With a four-month-old newborn and an urgent need to create stability for her family, she turned to what she knew best and loved most – cooking.

Started very small, she made her two favorite dishes – falafel and hummus – and sold them through a Facebook page. What began as a modest effort quickly took on a life of its own. Word spread, demand surged, and she found herself racing to upgrade her tiny kitchen setup just to keep up.

Fueled by a passion for quality, authenticity, and obsession with attention to detail, she embraced the challenge, without compromising the integrity of  ingredients, processes, or values. Every step of the way – from sourcing the freshest natural ingredients to achieving ISO 22000-2018 food safety certification-  has been guided by her belief that great food should be authentic, clean, and crafted with care.

What began as a homegrown venture soon evolved into Vietnam’s first registered manufacturer of falafel and hummus, and a growing presence in supermarkets, restaurants, and five-star hotels.

But at its core, Mari’s remains what it has always been: a labor of love, a commitment to excellence, and a celebration of tradition reimagined for today.
